Ashtabula County is home to 19 covered bridges, and this one in Windsor Mills is my personal favorite. It's tucked on a quiet country road in a gorgeous hemlock ravine...as a matter of fact, this Amish buggy was the only traffic seen during our visit! To add to the drama, a thick fog was covering the region when we stopped last weekend on our way home from Chautauqua, NY.
Windsor Mills was built in 1867 and can be found on the National Register of Historic Places.
