Among the coolest things about fall photography are these colorful leaf swirls that develop along fast-moving creeks & beneath waterfalls. Seen here is a rare triple swirl, and there were actually a couple more spinning out of the frame. The exposure was six-seconds long to capture the slow-moving action beneath Brandywine Falls at Cuyahoga Valley National Park.Sure it snowed all night, and most of today. This was the scene near Ontario & Carnegie this morning. However, early-spring in Cleveland could mean temps anywhere from 20 to 70 degrees! I can recall an Opening Day days a couple years ago when we were chugging Coronas in shorts & t-shirts pre-game, and scarfing down hot chocolate by the 7th-inning stretch. Either way, you better believe hardy Clevelanders will be out in force tomorrow!
