This morning’s sun pillar was incredible. As the sun crested the horizon, it lit the ice crystals in the air on fire. Never seen one so intense. Didn’t have a strong composition planned…luckily a flock of cormorants lifted out of the Flats & passed through the scene.
Those who were up early can attest it was quite icy out there!
