'Halo'

While shooting Lake Erie waves today, a sun halo suddenly appeared – one of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s created by the sunlight refracting through the ice crystals which make up very high clouds (and there’s also a very distinct shimmery "sun dog" bottom-right). Waves on the lake were WILD today, but those shots will have to wait. Quite a day!
