An organic moment in nature starring the exquisite Wild Ginger in bloom & a very active land snail - which eventually worked itself into the frame. The flower is approximately nickel-sized & the snail equivalent to a dime, but this tiny scene was the highlight of our first visit to Goll Woods State NP in extreme NW Ohio. This preserve is said to hold the largest virgin timber in the state (400 years old) - a stronghold of the Great Black Swamp.
