How do we have places like this right in our own backyard?? Took a 7-mile hike in-and-out of Blue Hen Falls, this morning. Honestly, the main parking lot being closed has probably been greatly restorative for this heavily-visited location. Starting before dawn felt like hiking through a cloud forest - with fog hanging in the treetops, warm rain falling, and humidity dialed up! The falls were, of course, beautiful as ever.
