Set out the day after Christmas to document Winter Storm Elliot’s path through the western basin of Lake Erie. It was amazing to see how quickly the lake level returned to equilibrium after a seiche dropped water in this area to an all-time low (there was an approximate 20-ft. difference between Buffalo & Toledo at the storm’s peak). Never a dull moment photographing this temperamental body of water and its many moods!
