A couple weeks ago a full Hunter's Moon rose over downtown Cleveland's skyline. But, beyond that - the Browns had just wrapped up a home game, the lights at Progressive Field were on, and the Rock Hall was illuminated in brilliant purple. The Cleveland skyline was looking as good as it ever has!
Fall happened, and I'm just getting back to these, but I was very excited about all the elements in this particular shot. As anyone who's tried to shoot the moon will attest, it's impossible to get detail in both the foreground & the moon when it's high in the sky. The shot is a blend of two shots taken simultanously - one exposed for the city, the other for the moon, melded in Photoshop. Settings at 150mm - ISO 1000, f/6.3 @ 0.5-sec. (city) & f/6.3 @ 1/1000-sec (moon).
