Mentioned on the last day of our Banff/Jasper NP adventure, that we’d seen everything imaginable - except Northern Lights. The next morning, we awoke at 4 AM and began the five-hour drive back to Calgary airport…when there was an eerie glow on the horizon! Pulled over and watched the best Aurora show of our lives along a dark country road east of Hinton, Alberta. What a fitting end to a wonderful trip (more to come)!
