Not sure where to begin with this experience, but this seems like a good place to start. Spent a couple hours yesterday morning exploring Primrose Ridge, an off-trail section of Denali National Park & Preserve. Upon reaching what appeared to be the ridgetop from below, the landscape opened-up big-time and there was an even higher ridge across the way. Even as I began angling away from it, something kept pulling in that direction – a certain mental deficiency to leave no stone unturned.
Popped over the last boulder & bam…two Dall Sheep grazing at close-range! We locked eyes & this immediately became one of my favorite photos ever taken.
